How a Virtual Assistant Can Help Your Small Business Flourish!

If you are just starting a small business or considering starting one you must be overwhelmed with all the tasks at hand. Getting the right office, employees and work materials can be a stressful process. Not to mention the administrative labyrinth you will have to go through, taxes, medical insurance… This two sentences are enough to get your head spinning, right?

But things don’t have to be THAT hard. There is a way to get your business going and still be happy and confident about it. It is the thing that the whole world is raving about. It is the thing that will lift a heavy weight of your shoulders. Behold the Virtual Assistant!

Unlike full-time employees, you do not need an office for them, because they work for you at home, wherever in the world that might be. You do not need to provide them with software, travel expenses nor medical expenses. You communicate with them by Skype, Messenger, E-mail or whatever means you choose. You decide how many hours a week you need them and when.

This can be very helpful for a small business owner that is just starting up and wants to cut the costs down to a minimum. And let’s be honest, a full-time employee doesn’t really work for 8 hours a day. Every business in the world is the same story: They show up late, spend hours on social networks, take endless lunch breaks, coffee breaks, even play Pokémon go! Of course there are always fine exceptions, but they only confirm the rule.

Of course you are aware that your small business couldn’t handle having irresponsible employees around and you can’t afford wasting away time and money in the very beginning (or ever). So today, make a decision to hire a VA, or two. Let them know what it is that you need to be done, tell them how many hours you estimate for that task and let them do their magic. Since they are payed per hour they will be more than happy to finish the job for you.

Having to do something over the weekend but you need to take a fishing trip with your son? Not a problem anymore. Assign the task to your very own VA.

It is more efficient to have two Virtual Assistants working on focused tasks for you then a room full of unmotivated physical employees that are praying for their working day to be over with. Life is so much easier when you know something will get done in 3 days, than having to remind your secretary about that thing from last week while she’s doing Face time with her spouse. See, a VA will earn money based on actual hours of effort so it is in their best interest to nail that task for you and keep you happy.
Of course, you have to be open and willing to let someone take the reins on something in order for the relationship to work. If you find the right person, and your confidence in them grows you will wonder how you ever did without them.
